THIS IS all about the atDNA FUN TIMES                        ADVENTURES RESEARCH .... we even had help from some Adair cousins.  We had a full genomic representation to compare to 30,500 people and about 10 years in, we got her done.  Turns out, after all of that, there were actually primary sources after all.  They required looking in Antiqua histories.  Face Palm for a those who feel the need to sigh. . . ha .....

Capt of Mariner Prince, John Lightfoot of the Pamunky Neck family married into the Clack Vann of MD & Antigua.

1.   Gahoga - is not traditional Cherokee language.  It is Caribbean native meaning Protector of Deer People.   Ho Ga was the Cherokee person, Sally Lightfoot Lott has zero Cherokee and no QUALLA Boundary direct ancestry like the Savannah, MS transfer group of Duncan/Dunn on Oak Hill Road and like the Nimrod Jarrett Smith direct to the Savannah Smiths of Poplarville, MS.

2.  Dorcas (Duncan) Lott, aide to the wife of the first Florida Parish circuit preacher - Isom Pounds, Margaret Parker  ( died on a supply trip to Liberty, TX and returned to be buried in Cheraw, MS with her Baptist Record Recorded Travel Companion from Georgia home who returned to Ga after this trip and those Duncans are tied to all the doings in the TX Rev. War with the Benge crew. 

Fun Fact.   The I -10 highway is named for the Revolutionary bounty land fathers, like the Marion Raider's families of MS passported from Horry Co in what became known later as  Dimery Settlers for a descendant of the translator Dimery/Thayer/Briggs generational translators, who had a long history with the Old Cheraw, hired by Penn back in the Susquahannah from whence the Old Cheraw were holed up with the contingient of Shawnee recorded by Capt John Smith's Susquahanna Map of 1606.  We are talking the really Old, Old Cheraw who had Jarrett, Va archeological dig proven Nottoway people, with primary sourced marriages recorded as N8V picked up in a  lot of marriages to former NA hailing out of the fur trade capital of New Kent Colony (begun by Col W. Claiborne in 1630) and whose grandson kicked out the Spanish in Pensacola in 1813 before the rest of FL was ceded in 1816.   Eveything is connected.  The multi estate owning John Lightfoot of Pamunkey Neck, Va's neighber Howell tied in to all of the above in various ways, too. 

3. Capt John Lightfoot of Pamunky Neck, Va and Eutaw, AL and business partner of Yeopim Chief descendant, George DuRant, and Robert Hicks of Antiqua and Winyah Bay, SC were tied in business.  

4. Cousin matches abound with super duper awesome cM amounts, on signature SNPS that we chromosome mapped backwards to distant cousins with the help of a bunch of Benge and Adair descendants;  with the descendants of Dorcas (Lightfoot), i.e.,Mrs Trader Benge & then known as Mrs Duncan; Martha Jane Dorsey  (Lightfoot)/Mrs. Absolom Lott;  Mrs. Nancy Adair; Patriot William (see Rev War record - fights with his John Lightfoot father). 

5. Colonials Dames of America's record is that  Thomas Lightfoot (brother of Capt Lightfoot) was the dad of Sarah Savin (Lightfoot), aka, Mrs John Lott 3,  10 years in the service to Calvert, and with the militia of Rice Hooe 3 and Pugh's Southern Tuscororan from Licking Run, Goinstown, VR.

5.  Sarah Lightfoot 's one and only primary source that exists of a birth date is this.  Her marriage proof is a source.  Her dad being Thomas Lightfoot is a Col Dames Source. But, here is what the reference on Wiki has which is behind a paywall when you try to find it.   Wiki stated,

Name Alert.  There is a Dorcas trend of names due to the Heroic wife of  Commander Richardson Family, Mrs Dorcas Richardson, Rev War Heroine. (Source:  Bloom Hill Plantation History on their website). But, that just explains the vast popularity of that name, as a side note.  That is the sub plot of the movie, Patriot, by the way, by the way.  Back to the Lightfoot connections to the Lotts, et. al. 

 Absolom Lott entered in MS with reassigned lands in Hinds Co, towards what would be the Jones Co area.  He went on to TX.   Luke  Lott's 1812 bounty lands near his Patriot Lott father in MS, John Lott 3's reassignment grant lands having been  there early and connecting in unknow ways t a same named John Lott of Licking Creek/ Goinstown Va who was not born the same time as the Marion Co, founder who had a  role with Marion's Raiders of SC and his ties to the survivors of the Georgetown seize who held out for 10 hrs in their Georgetown Seige, mostly AA and NA men and boys.

Absolom LOTT & wife Martha Jane Dorsey LIGHTFOOT had at least a daughter named Frances Lucretia  "Patsy" LIGHTFOOT whose husband William HATTEN  is name sake of HATTIESBURG, MS, which at the time of Hind Co resettlement into MS Territory via reassigned allotment under Lewis Parker with assignment papers enrolled in Choctaw Co, MS prior to personal reservations obtained in Hinds, Co.   The town of Hattiesburg, MS is named for William Hatten is a favorite of the Univ of Southern Mississippi places to go to college of the many who are descended from Patriots of Holden's Beach, NC on the Elizabeth River where the Westron Native Community Census was taken including his progenitor's name, Francis Hatten.   

Ga Ho GA is a term of a group of folks transported by owners of ships- LIGHTFOOT of the incoming Antiqua  ARAWAK CARIB community into the Cherokee of Eutaw, AL area, as mapped and deeded on record.  The origin of the family of John Lightfoot was 1/4 Welsh of Picton Castle ilk and 1/4 Arab Spanish by the Armisteads in his line.    Absolom Lott's wife's mom  was the same her half sibling, Sarah  Lightfoot being a  half sis of Dorcas Lightfoot Duncan (not same as Dorcas Lott)  are all tied to Lott, Odom, Parker, Pounds, and Skipper in the Kingston Co, SC court petition and deeds there that they flipped for Marion CO, MS lands.    See the deed work in Horry Co, SC online postings.  It is known that George DuRant and his business partner Hicks were in the Antigua land.   John Lott 3 petitioned to get a court house in the area of what is now Marion Co, MS and his Luke got his acres as bounty land service in War of 1812.  John Lott 3 got his land via reassignment with the former GA connecting Lightfoots and also via John Lott 3's nearly 10 years of Rev War service,  which did not turn out to be the same as the John Lott of the Licking Branch who served under Capt Rice Hooe 4;  (think Goins and Lott and Lett and Hoosier and Hughes people)   See, John Lott 3's petition was granted for a courthouse in Columbus, MS. after he left Ga to claim his land lottery.  He brought over his wife, Sarah Lightfoot Lott  and her  half sibling of Martha Jane Dorsey Lightfoot who married his brother Absolom Lott who ended up moving to Bosque, TX.
